At 1/3 the speed of light, a 35km craft would contract to
(50km)*(sqrt(1-((c/3)^2)/(c^2))), or about 33km, length along the dirrection
of motion contracts. Time would slow down though, so in a sense time is
expanding, so that's probably where you got confused. Anyway, as this is not
really pertaining to Tesla Coils, I won't go into it any further. I just
wanted to make sure people don't get false information.
