All,
	I have been using my rewound 7.5Vac former neon for some
electrochemistry experiments today. The 7.5Vac open circuit voltage
drops to 7.1Vac at 10A. It outputs 60A short circuit. 

I just tried to get a load at 50 amps or so to get another data point.
I don't have anything with a low enough resistance that can handle the
power. I can melt #23 resistance wire right quick though;)

So to answer Malcolm's question: the regulation is very poor, but
without a third point I wont hazard a guess. (at this voltage level,
my meter is marked in 0.5 volt increments so don't take them as
accurate.)
