Hey Weazle,
This is actually possible... do it like a triggered marx generator. You have
say a flash ignition coil triggering the first gap in your RQ, then because
of the higher voltage across less space the the other gaps will break down,
one after tha other. This is exactly the same way that triggered marx
generators work, either by firing a UV laser across the gaps to ionise the
air, or by trigggering the first gap. I have always wondered if this would
work, but me being an RSG person...
