Re: MMC calculation Utility

First of all, i want to thank you for the positive feedback!
Then i can answer your questions:
For the moment the algorithm takes care only about caps voltage and
capacitance (the four parameters required by the program to start the
computation).
The total voltage of the array became the lower limit value, from wich the
algorithm start to calculate capacitance, by adding capacitors in series
and strings in parallel untill it reaches the required value of capacitance.
During the writing of the program, I thougth to introduce other design
parameters, such as pulse current, string length, spacing between strings,
dissipation, placing geometry and so on, but i found so many troubles (for
example the total lack of equations and/or experimetal data), that i
decided to compile the simplest version of the algorithm, that is the
1.0.2. (note that in the download version, the revision digit may differ
from 2!!)
It is possible in the near future that i will start experimets about MMC
geometry, RMS Current handling, etc. to create a new version of the
algorithm: I'll be glad to find someone else interested in such experimets
to work with!
I hope someone will understand my English!
Cheers,
Matteo
