I never said to use the belt. I was offering an
alternative to the belt sander for driving a VDG belt.
Surely you folks weren't planning on using a sanding
belt????? Likewise, I wouldn't expect you to use a
treadmill belt; just the drive mechanism. I went on
and on about the variable speed controls, not the
belt.
