	Isn't Sloan the fellow who made a long, skinny coil which he ran in a
vacuum?  I didn't remember the input as being that high, since it was a
relatively small coil.  Perhaps something different.  The coil mentioned
in the original post was reported to run at 180 Hz, driven by a tripler
from 60 Hz.  Was this wrong, or are you referring to a different coil?
