3/4 wavelength interaction



During the operation of a 1500 ft coil it was accidentally noticed that  a
powerful disharge could be taken from the end terminal (a bare wire with no
attached capacity) to a point at 500 ft where  the electrical tape covered a
solder pt. This arc was thicker white and of longer length. In fact it was
worried that this might be exceeding the rated amperage demands of the
transformer and this was avoided. Could this be something about  multiple
stationary waves or harmonics being set up to convey a more massive amount
of amperage for a smaller time period?  In fact wouldnt the best spot to
observe this effect be made 1/4 up the coil instead of 1/3? This could then
become a 3/4 wave interaction which Tesla states works best with  dual
interaction  with extra coil on 7-19-99 CSN. I never initially understood
his comment that it was found best to make the extra coil 3/4 and the
secondary 1/4 for OBVIOUS(?) reasons. Is this a commonly used parameter for
magnifier systems? HDN
