I'd suggest a couple or 4 pieces of copper pipe arranged in parallel (i.e.
the axes parallel) with a small gap between each pipe.  Use whatever size
pipe you have conveniently laying around.  Try to get some of the rigid
stuff, so it's actually straight.  A muffin fan blowing across the gap helps
a bunch, but isn't necessary.
