It's a 520Vac, 30Amp, 3 phase, Motorized GE VOLT-PAC Model No.9T92A5053

The place has been listing these under "Volt-Pac" instead of variac, so
no one see it when they do a search. The auction has expired at least 3
times with no takers at $150.00. I picked one up about a month ago. It
could be seprated into "three" 30 amp variac's.

I'm still trying to decide on whether to try comming up with a home brew
paralleling choke, or seprate it. (one for volts, one for current, one
for sale :)

         I have tried e-bay on several items from H.V. transformers to
lasers to HV caps.... every time at the last moment the bidding goes out
the roof..same results as you..... makes me suspicions of sellers
motivation(s). have you checked out fair radio www.fairadio-dot-com or tedd
panye at http://home.earthlink-dot-net/~teddp/ ?
fair has a 0-280v at 28 amp for 250.00 or so.....
