RE: I need help with my crappy coil

Jeroen -

Download the free JHCTES Ver 3.0 TC computer program when it is available
next week. Use a primary capacitor of about 0.2 uf and around a 6 inch dia
secondary with about 1000 turns. You can then tune the operating frequency
to around 100 to 150 Khz with the toroid which is an input. Keep the primary
wiring and connections large to minimize resistance. The program uses 13
inputs and 17 outputs. This design should give you big sparks. I would be
interested in how you make out.

To m0neyfromyuba -

The 0.02 uf in my last post should be 0.2 uf. Your coil is similar to the
above and could use the same parameters. JHC
