hi jay,
can i ask if you have ever tried running this coil outside of the garage?
and if
so, did it still "confuse" your electronics? the use of the 5kva step down
transformer should block most transients from backing into your service, so i'm
thinking that maybe the hf is being induced into the wiring in the garage.
in the
most standard wiring in a garage, most of it is ran across the ceiling
trusses and
most of it is paralleled across the center.
it could be that these runs are picking up the hf from the discharges and then
sending it back into your service panel?if after you try it out side the garage
door, no mix-up problems are experienced, you could run aluminum gutter guard
along the ceiling and connect it to your rf ground.
