RE: What wattage resistors for NST protection?

Aluminum-clad power resistors are NOT suitable for use in NST protection
networks. Since they are required to develop tens of kV from end-to-end,
the aluminum heat sinks will seriously compromise their voltage holdoff
capability. All-ceramic units of sufficient wattage should not have this
problem.
