some ready-mades

Here are a few things I've adapted for coiling use, that have proved
pretty effective over the years- comments please, and any others you
might have thought up-
Spaghetti jars, long in shape, in some kind of perspex. (Sec formers)
Tumble dryer venting kit tubes, white ABS. (Sec formers)
MDF circular disks, 24" diameter. (Bases for primaries)
Schartz spice jars, filled with resin, with 10M stud set into it, as great
insulated cable supports and terminals.
Aluminium 1" wide strip (crate strapping?) in big rolls, as conductors,
and, drilled, as connecting bars across the top of beer bottle caps.
Car jump leads, as conductors.
Sall electrodes- steel chromed balls on Newton's cradles (care boot
sales, very cheap), welded to a bolt.
Large electrodes- Chinese Finger Balls, welded to a bolt.
High efficiency speaker woven speaker cable, as conductors.
Washing machine grey grooved empty hose, cut into pieces, and fixed
to struts with plastic bag-ties, to hold primary coil turns.

any more?
