What Nature says is always the truth :-)

No way. Three identical capacitors in series have only 1/3 of the
applied
voltage over each of them. The charge required for this is just 1/3 of
the charge required to charge a single capacitor to the same voltage.
Capacitance is the ratio between charge and voltage. If the charge is
divided by 3, the capacitance is divided too.
