E-TESLA 5.40

Hi All,

Kevin Ottalini found a great compiler for the old Q basic. So I guess it
is time to upgrade the program again. After all, it has been 24 hours ;-))
The new compiled version runs 15 times faster!!!! It can rip through 5000
full accuracy pass in 101 seconds on my Pentium II 400MHz!

This version has a few mods for the compiled version and a number of fixes
for errors in the 5.31 and 5.32 versions. I did more harm than good
there... :-( Since it is so fast now I was able to do a lot of error
checking. The program seems to get within 2% on terminated coils and 5% on
bare coils if you are really careful to measure things right. I think it's
accuracy is now limited by the grid size and the exact secondary voltage
profile which is not perfect. Perhaps Robert's work will help there ;-)

The full version 5.40 is at:

A stripped down compiled version for those that just want to run it is at:

Many thank to Kevin for this giant speed increase. It now runs so fast it
scares me! ;-))

Cheers,

	Terry
