tungsten is very dense (sg 19)
tungsten is pretty hard
tungsten is very brittle

drilling or tapping is going to be an ordeal

at least you don't have to worry about it melting when you machine it...

(there is a special wrought tungsten or tungsten alloy that is more
machineable)
