Hi,
I have just depotted a transco poly-lock and an actown resin filled
transformer very sucessfully. I find that the best method is to put them in
the freezer for a few hours, which makes the resin very brittle. Then smash
the top, bottom and sides with a small sledge hammer. This will shatter all
of the resin, and it can then be pried out in large peices with a
screwdriver. One thing that you have to consider is that all neons are
different, and this method may not work for yours.
