I believe the timer you speak of is a microchip...you can buy them at radio
shack...about $3.00...they operate on low voltage like 3 volts or so i

kinda hard to apply it to a tesla coil though i would think...
to bad i don't have the package for one of these laying around i would've
had a use for my cuecat....lol...
