Re: Bicycle Wheel for toroid?

I would suggest that a bicycle wheel, used alone, is likely to be an
ineffectual toroid. A toroid needs to have large radius of curvature,
to cut down corona losses. A 'wheel': rim spokes, hub has way too
many 'sharp' surfaces. A wheel used as a mount for some sort of
tubular 'thing' (drier duct, whatever) sounds plausible.
