Wow Marc!

         That's a pretty intense looking arc!!!  The noise it's putting 
into the TV makes me wonder if it's a touch out of tune or if it's the 
normal radiated trash a TC puts off.  It really makes me want to bust out 
some materials and wind my own flat secondary and throw my RF generator on 
it to see what all's going on there :)    Maybe try a VTTC with a flat 
spiral secondary and see what that does.  I think I have some 26ga left, 
and I'm eyeballing a spool of 40ga on the shelf behind me.  What's the 
"here and current" method of winding a flat secondary? 2 lexan sheets with 
the wire sandwiched between?     I'm not really interested in the 
longitudal wave aspect,  rather the challenge of building a flat spiral 
primary sounds like fun.

  Some idle thoughts on reducing flashover problems (at the expense of 
decreased top voltage).  Run a smaller bangsize and a higher BPS, or to run 
it as a CW coil like a VTTC.  Anywho, it's getting late, and I got a busy 
day tomorrow.   Laters, and awesome work Marc!  Keep it up!
