Im starting to see these problems more and more as im running up to about 
2kw now.  My dual 833A VTTC is having to minor difficulties, to say the 
least!  Luckily im still in the 5kv range.  Primary and secondary coils are 
getting quite warm in a short amount of time.  Im not pushing the tubes 
beyond a slight redness (yet).  My 18A RMS tank cap is getting a few 
degrees warmer than room temp, so thats not good.  Sparks are just barely 
making 20", so somewhat displeasing.  This coils will see many more hours 
of work, im sure.

I was vary interested to read about many of the different tube coils out 
there, and to hear of such extreme power levels!  That is really 
incomprehensible to see a coil running in the 10s of KW!

Oh, and John F was correct, i mean largest coil, spark lenght.  Although i 
still like to hear about the physically large ones.
