Hi Jason, James, All,

Electrolytics on HF AC do function (as anti-personnel devices) ;-))) When 
they explode, the casing and boiling caustic electrolyte can blind, maim, 
and/or kill.
They are not only useless for TCs, they are dangerous outside of the uses 
for which they were intended: e.g. DC storage and filtering the ripple out 
of a DC supply.
