Josh: I an glad to hear your cone coil response. I use highway cone with
spray fry oil as a mold release and make a coil form with fiber glass or
paper laminate. My tapered secondary have worked very well sense the late
1940's. I also use PVC , but they have some problems the cones don't have
such as when I use no toroid at all.
