RE: Supposed Tesla device on Ebay Australia

Eric/all,

The device looks very similar to the one Tesla built for his lecture to
the New York Academy of Sciences(NIKOLA TESLA: Lecture before the New
York Academy of Sciences - April 6, 1897, Leland I. Anderson, Twenty
First Century Books, ISBN 0-9636012-1-0, ISBN 0-9636012-7-X).

More information on this type of coil is in Tesla's book on Experiments
with Alternating Currents. He also talks about and diagrams the use of
"Strong Electromagnets" or pressurized air to quench the spark gap
(Experiments with Alternating Currents of High Potential and High
Frequency - A Lecture Delivered before the Institution of Electrical
Engineers London, Nikola Tesla, 1904, McGraw, Reprint-Omni
Publications).

Regards,
Brian B.

They told me it was a full oscillator circuit inside, apparently in
traditional tesla setup with a spark gap and all.
