Hi Robert,

  They must have some uniqueness. Redundancy is not patentable in US
  Tesla was a "gestalt visualization" inventor and experimentalist; 
Steinmetz was a master theoretician and inventor. There is room in the 
pantheon of EE gods for both. (except for the rabidly monotheistic Tesla's)
