Hi, i have used alum frying pans epoxied together, also fan shrouds work
pretty good, and some of the big fans like a Rich winjammer has a big
shroud, not too thick, nice rounded edge. i am going to weld some of the
cheap fan shrouds together with mig someday. the one on my tesla #3 is just
taped with vinyl electrical tape to hold it together. every once in a while
it burns thru the tape, so i put another strip on. I should weld it to cure
this problem. the chicken wire on styro or plywood also work.
