Subject: Aluminum bar as stationary electrode holder?

I have some tungsten electrodes, and am considering using aluminum bars as
holders/connectors for them on my SRSG.

While I would prefer to use brass, I already have the aluminum, and it would
be convenient to use what I already have on hand. .

Will the oxide layer on the aluminum cause me trouble when using the metal
as a stationary tungsten electrode holder/connector?

Thanks for any tips,

Jon
