Hi Matt,

I don't have a lot of experience with "depotting" NSTs
and what little experience I do have has pretty well turned
out disasterous. Reading your posting reminded me of my
"bad times". I finally came to the conclusion that a "dead"
NST just isn't worth that much trouble to "resurrect". I do be-
lieve that your assumption is correct about repairing the high
voltage winding connection to the coil bobbing. Of course,
once again, it is rather challenging, at least to me, to repair
and solder nearly hair fine wire, but you may not be as dex-
terously challenged as myself ;^)
