they are long gone now, but I was selling similar caps for $5 cents each a 
few years ago - I'll bet if you look around you can find them or something 
suitable in quantity pretty cheap - try ford electronics, for example 
(telephone, and ask for scott) - be flexible on what you want - you need 
quantity and the right dielectric - beyond that, everything else can be 
adjusted -

     Can anyone advise me about where to buy some cornell dubilier 942 
capacitors that everyone is using for mmc's.  Checked a couple online 
sites and  $6.50 seems high, but I am new to this and don't know.  The 
salt water caps work, but...!
  The info I,ve gleaned from this site is priceless.
