Re: [TCML] C D capacitors



I don't think it's correct to suggest that specifying the right
dielectric is all one needs to get a useful cap.  True, the dielectric
should be polypropylene, but eBay is full of HV polypropylene caps
that are not suitable for TC use.  The other critical thing is how the
cap is built - whether the plate terminations will support the very
high pulse currents encountered in a TC.  This is not a point that we
can be flexible on.
