You really need to get the right material, or have a custom roller die
to bend odd diameter tubing like EMT.  If the tube diameter doesnt
match the die, then you will squish the tubing when you bend it.  I
bought my 1" x .065" wall AL tube in 24 foot lengths at a local metal
shop.  It cost us about 450 bucks in metal to make 3 toroids, 42"x10",
so you should expect to pay about 150 bucks for 1.  Thats with 7
rings, by the way.

Im not sure what alloy we got, i think it was 6061.  It had a blue
marking on the ends, which i think also indicates the type.
