That would be mylar, which is generally not the best dielectric for TC service due to a high dissipation factor (AKA lossy at RF). Here is an older thread in which it is discussed: http://www.pupman.com/listarchives/2000/November/msg00294.html .

If you can get the caps extremely cheap, you could always overbuild the MMC to help reduce the internal heating, but do keep in mind what you are working with.

The 942C caps are a bit spendy at first, but they are a proven contender, and if you operate them within specs you will get a long life out of them.
