Best high voltage filter capacitors ever made! I have a restored 1947 AM Broadcast Transmitter with the original Pyranols in the power supply. Shows you how good this oil really is. Excellent dielectric properties and fire resistant properties.

Trouble is, if they ever do fail or need to be discarded for any reason, they must go to a special incinerator disposal site. Do not throw them in the trash or you could be liable for a really big fine if you're caught. $$$

They are known to cause cancer in California, so don't use them there.

This oil was outlawed for use in electrical equipment in the US about 1974.

Also known as Askarel. This oil stinks and tastes terrible on pancakes.

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT USING THESE ON TESLA COIL RF CIRCUITS! They are designed for 50/60hz power factor correction and DC filtering only and may very well rupture if exposed to high frequency current!...this would not be good.

Pyran_o_l is/was a tradename of GE for, yes

PCBs.

Very Unpleasant/toxic/carcinogenic...  I'd avoid.
