I can tell you for sure one thing I would NOT do, come into contact with
the streamers in any way.
Sure the high frequency low amperage streamers themselves aren't
particularly dangerous (in the short term) but god forbid you get a primary
strike while you're playing with the sparks from the secondary.
If your 60 Hertz gets carried through an HF streamer, BANG!, you're done.
I personally would not risk doing what you did with that florescent tube in
the video.
Some people will probably call me paranoid but I have a lot of faith in
Murphy's Law.
