First Secondary

Is a first secondary called an oxymoron? Anyway, just wound my first secondary
on a 3" PCV pipe. 1600 turns, more or less. I used a variable speed wood
lathe. The turning took less than an hour. Overall length is 20.25 inches of
28 gage wire. To help hold the top and bottom of the windings, I used four
drops of CA glue, 90 degrees apart. Hit the drops with an accelerator. The CA
really holds the windings tight at the top and bottom.

How are folks attaching the secondary to the support plate? I was thinking of
using a smaller cylinder to slide the coil over. That would allow for some
vertical adjustment when tuning. Thoughts?
