Thanks, I recently found a website explaining the process. I think I'm going
to make an attempt at trying it. I am a metalworker by
trade -http://jbdetails-dot-com . I've built my own wood bowl spinning lathe,
and several other contraptions out of junk and scrap metal. I don't see why
this wood be too difficult. Unless someone can provide some insight why it
might be. I am very open to suggestions. One question I do have is: What
grade of Al would be best to use? And what thickness would be easiest to
start with or be best for a torid?
