Thanks for that info.  Does your vertical coil produce sparks that
are fuzzy/gnarly?  Or are they sharp, straight, pointy sparks?

My 24" spark VTTC produced straight type sparks, especially in
staccato mode, but my 36"-38" spark VTTC always gave the fuzzy
sparks. even in staccato mode.

I've identified a number of factors that affect whether a coil gives
straight or fuzzy sparks, but I don't think I have it entirely pinned
down yet.
