Re: [TCML] Schematic Capture Software

I'm happy with sPlan7 of ABACOM. It's easy to use and comes with a large library of components. Creating your own components is easy as well. Cost is about 42 Euro, which are well invested IMO.

Subject: [TCML] Schematic Capture Software

I need your advice:

I have used DesignWorks Lite for years to draw circuits (schematics) because
the price was right - free. But alas, the registration has expired, the
product no longer works, and the product is discontinued. The professional
version is about $500 which is out of my budget range.

Does anyone have a still-working (free) copy of DesignWorks Lite 4 they
could send me so I could print out my circuit design files?

What schematic capture software is available for hobbyists these days that
is free or low cost for drawing circuits ranging from spark gap TCs to
digital logic for several dozen ICs and hybrid analog/digital circuits?

Thanks,

S. Young
