Now with a much wider primary, hoping to get more k range.

Primary 10 turns.

Tap1 at 3.55 turns for 'inner' k setting.
Tap2 at 8.05 turns for 'outer' k setting.

Using inner end of primary to tap1: k = 0.157
Using tap2 to outer end of primary: k = 0.175

(Maybe I got the inner and outer swapped in the previous example,
it's late.)

Still not much k range.  And it seems quite difficult to get a
low coupling with a bipolar coil driven with a plane primary.
