Yes. I was wondering if the collectors helped the charging/rep rate. I found
that a loop of 1/8" brass did just as well as a tin can soldered to a brass
rod or a tube of fine metal mesh. My reference to the spark size was only by
way of saying I never attempted a fancy K. generator as was shown.
