Subject: Metering my x-ray supply

Hi all, I am interested in making or possibly buying a high voltage probe,
so I am interested if anyone has any tried designs. Also where would I get
the mega-OHM resistors cheaply? On the other hand if I could find a 40KV
probe for less then ~$50 I would love to trade or purchase it! ;-)

I also need to find a reliable way to measure the tube filament DC current.
Anyone have a reliable method using easily obtained parts?
